Jesse Golfs has spent the last eight months playing the public golf courses of Los Angeles County and ranking them. Ten episodes down, that one series accounts for 70% of everything his channel has ever done — and on Friday, he starts a second one.
He is doing it from 5,290 subscribers. Half the creators in his tier haven't reached 14,000 views all year. He's at 177,000.
Episode 1 landed at Rancho Park on November 22, 2025 — a William P. Bell muni in Cheviot Hills that hosted the LA Open seventeen times. It did 34,916 views, and eight months later it is still the biggest video on the channel.
Nine episodes have followed, working through Harding at Griffith Park, Mountain Meadows, Santa Anita, Encino and Knollwood. Ten episodes have drawn 191,355 views combined. The eight that landed in 2026 account for 78.5% of his entire year.

His biggest upload of the year isn't even a Muni episode. "I Played this 1 Star Golf Course in California (instant regret)" went out on July 18 and has drawn 34,456 views — within touching distance of the channel record Rancho Park set eight months earlier. He had run that premise once before, in October 2025. It did 8,449.
He crossed 5,000 subscribers on July 19 — the day after it dropped.
What's NextNine episodes. Five courses in Northern California, three of them ranked among the Top 100 Public Courses in America. Each course split into two episodes, front nine and back nine.
And it's a full format change. The Muni Series is one golfer working through a city. This is stroke play between three scratch-level golfers, all former college players — a week-long points race that doesn't produce a winner until the final episode.
He has the résumé for it. He filmed the US Mid-Amateur Qualifier in September 2025 and played 18 holes against a scratch golfer in March.
The number to beat is his own. Rancho Park set the channel record on a series premiere at 34,916 views — the Northern California Invitational opens against the best Jesse Golfs has ever posted.
